parents time control

We have hosted the application parents time control in order to run this application in our online workstations with Wine or directly.

Quick description about parents time control:

This Visual Basic 6.0 program is a lightweight(only 22KB) Parental Time Control tool that limits daily computer usage time on Windows 10 and 11. It runs invisibly in the background, reading the allowed daily time (in minutes) from a simple text file (limit.txt). When the time is up, it automatically shuts down the system. Five minutes before shutdown, a warning message appears. On weekends (Friday to Sunday), the allowed time is extended by one hour. The program stores daily usage state in state.txt, so if the previous day ended with “time up,” the next startup triggers shutdown after one minute. Ideal for parental control, shared PCs, or productivity management.
To auto-start, place a shortcut of the .exe file in the Windows Startup folder:
C: \Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

v.2 - Log file added (logging of start time, shutdown events etc.)
